My name is Cynthia Samokar and I am a wife and mother that homeschools my two kids, and is passionate about helping other mothers start their homeschooling journey by providing valuable content that you can apply to your homeschool. 

There are tips and tricks that I share throughout my blogposts that are helpful for new homeschool parents, and gives ideas to the parent that is burning out. I believe that homeschooling is a great option for many struggling students, and once given the opportunity, the parent will realize it as well. 

Funny story - I was actually apprehensive about homeschooling a few years ago and felt very intimidated by the entire concept. I thought that I was not qualified enough to teach my children and that my children could only be taught by a teacher in a school setting. 

I say that was a funny story because none of it was actually true, but rather my perception of how I perceived myself. When I decided to put myself up for the challenge of homeschooling my children during the 2020 pandemic I learned a lot about my children and myself. 

I learned that as their parent I was more than qualified to teach them, especially during those times. They needed to see a familiar face during those times of uncertainty.

Homeschooling is hard, but worth the reward of getting to see your child grow and learn before your very eyes. I believe that with the correct resources any parent can homeschool their child.
